Lara secured a spot in the 2010 Geelong Football League Finals with a 13 point win over Geelong West St Peters in Round 17.

Lara suffered their second disappointing loss in a row when Newtown proved too strong at Elderslie Reserve in Round 16 on Saturday.

LARA coach Ben Harris is under no illusions that there remains a lot of hard work for his side if it wants to feature in finals football.
